There will be some downtown street closures that may affect how long it will
take you to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
Rehabilitation of Bank Street between Laurier Avenue and Somerset Street will
start May 26/08 and is scheduled to be completed by mid November 2008.
- Bank street closed to traffic during construction period starting June 9/08
- All cross-streets will remain open to east-west traffic
- Bank and all cross streets will remain open to pedestrians
- Bank and Somerset will be open to traffic (short term closure required starting May 31/08 for an estimated 9 days)
- Bank and Laurier will be open to traffic (short term closure required after the Somerset intersection is re-opened to traffic; sixteen days estimated)
- On-Street parking (Bank Street) will be removed during construction.
- OC Transpo detours will be put into place, buses will be detoured north on Kent Street and south on O'Connor Street.
Please keep these changes in mind and plan alternate routes well in advance in order to arrive to your scheduled appointment on time.
