
Dr. Diane Dmytrowski was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from McGill University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology in 1994, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998. She then pursued a General Residency Program in Syracuse, New York. Upon its completion, she moved back to Canada to be closer to family and has been practising in Ottawa since then. “Dr. D” returned to New York to complete her training in Advanced Anaesthesia Techniques with an emphasis in IV sedation and is very happy to be able to provide this special service to her patients at Dental Anaesthesia Group. Presently, Dr. Dmytrowski is continuing her education at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, one of world’s premier postgraduate dental teaching centers, which specializes in the training of neuromuscular and cosmetic dentistry.
On a more personal note, Diane is married to Dave, a former dental school classmate, and together, they have two young children, Emma and Ethan. Diane enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling.
Dr. Kirsty Large was born in a small town in Wales called Aberystwyth. She lived there until age five at which point her family moved to Montreal, Quebec. She graduated from McGill University where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She then completed a General Practice Residency program at the Montreal Children's Hospital which she really enjoyed, as well as IV Sedation training at the Georgia Medical College in Augusta. She also had the opportunity of teaching the fourth year dental students at McGill University as a clinical demonstrator, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Montreal Dental Club. She moved to Ottawa in 2009, and has been practicing at the Dental Anaesthesia Group ever since. When Kirsty is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her Maltese, Hunter.
