May be single or multiple drug procedures designed specifically for the individual patient with safety and comfort in mind.
Healthy to controlled mild disease and some ASA III patients determined at the time of diagnosis by a complete medical history. ASA III and worse may be referred to the appropriate medical facility (hospital) for treatment.
Include high anxiety, difficulty with local anesthetics, overactive gag reflexes, claustrophobic and in some cases individuals requiring extensive treatment. (where absenteeism from work or multiple visits are a problem)
All patients are returned to their referring Dr. for continued care unless instructed otherwise by the referring Dentist.
