Laser Dentistry

Modern technology has brought us a minimally invasive alternative to traditional dental surgery. With laser dentistry, Dr. Saso can remove soft tissue for crown lengthening, cosmetic gum lifts, biopsies, and grafts. We also use the diode laser for gum disease therapy, removing bacteria from pockets between the teeth and gums. This eradicates infection and promotes reattachment of gum tissue.

LASER is an acronym for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation. The focused, potent laser beam works precisely and quickly for optimal results. Because laser seals tissue as it works, sutures (stitches) are unnecessary, bleeding is minimal, and patients often have a fast recovery.
